Recycled PET New Horizons 2025-07-25 09:12:51

Recently, the Pingqiao District's Xinyang Boer New Material Co., Ltd. successfully received 5.9 million in funding from the second batch of ultra-long-term special treasury bonds in 2025 for its comprehensive utilization project of producing 50,000 tons of recycled PET new materials annually. It is reported that the total investment of the project is 500 million yuan. Once completed and operational, it is expected to have an annual production capacity of 50,000 tons, generate an output value of 1 billion yuan, create over 200 jobs, and contribute more than 50 million yuan in taxes annually, further aiding employment and economic growth in Xinyang.

Xinyang Boer New Materials Co., Ltd. was established on March 25, 2024. The company’s main business is the research and manufacturing of recycled polyester new materials, aligning with the green, circular, and low-carbon industry. It is a key project under Xinyang City's "Three Batches." The company primarily focuses on the development and application of polymer materials. The products will undergo challenge testing at the official laboratory of the U.S. FDA and obtain certification from the European Union (FDANOL). The production process adopts Solid State Polymerization (SSP) technology. The R-PET polymer materials traced through the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) can be used in aerospace, humanoid robots, automobile manufacturing, food packaging, cosmetics, daily chemicals, and other fields.

The 50,000-ton recycled PET project by Boer New Materials has been launched, perfectly reflecting the "compliance and high-value" trends of the rPET sheet sector, which will be a key focus at ChinaReplas2025 (September 3-5, Ningbo).

As the fastest-growing, compliance-critical, and significantly profitable core segment in the recycled polyester field, rPET sheets are rapidly benefiting from multiple opportunities in policy compliance, technological upgrades, and market expansion.
