BMW and Alibaba have reached a strategic AI collaboration to apply the Tongyi large model in new generation vehicles for the Chinese market.
IT Home, March 26 - BMW announced its 360-degree AI strategy in China yesterday, which includes three main pillars: AI focused on enhancing user experience, AI empowering business processes for quality improvement and efficiency enhancement, and collaborative win-win supply chain partnerships, along with the corporate philosophy of AI.
BMW Group today confirmed a strategic partnership with Alibaba Group in the field of AI in China. The two parties will engage in joint research and development in cutting-edge areas such as AI large language models and intelligent voice interaction, providing forward-looking solutions that closely align with the needs of Chinese users.
The cooperation will focus on technologies such as large language models, with Alibaba Cloud's Tongyi model to be applied in the new BMW Generation models for the Chinese market.
