The flexible plastic tube market is still growing rapidly, with Mordor Intelligence predicting it to reach approximately 9.5 billion US dollars by 2029, at a compound annual growth rate of about 7.39%. Although closely related to the beauty and personal care industry, tubes are also favored in several other markets, including pharmaceuticals, home care, food, and lubricants.

This versatility is largely due to the different polymers available that can meet the product requirements in terms of protection and squeezability, as well as the choice of neck finishes and closures. These also provide convenience for consumers, while the wide decoration area allows for effective branding. In areas with appropriate recycling infrastructure, single-material tubes can be used for easier recycling, and tubes made from post-consumer recycled plastics can help businesses fulfill their sustainability commitments.
