Another Solid-State Battery Production Base Is About to Start Construction!
According to Tai Lan New Energy news, on October 9th, Hubei Province held a promotion meeting for major project construction in the fourth quarter of 2025, and Tai Lan New Energy's all-solid-state... A batch of projects including R&D and industrialization projects is scheduled to commence.
The project was launched in Qianjiang, Hubei, this August, focusing on the design, development, and mass production of all-solid-state battery products.

According to the project announcement information, the construction project for the all-solid-state battery production base (Phase I) has started the bidding process at the end of September. The total planned investment for the project is 1.5 billion yuan, which includes the construction of two cell workshops, two formation workshops, and one PACK workshop.
According to reports, Tailan New Energy has previously established R&D and production bases in Beijing, Chongqing, Anhui, and other locations. The 0.2GWh production line at the Chongqing base is nearly at full capacity, with an additional 12GWh of capacity under construction, expected to begin initial production within the year, with an annual output value exceeding 10 billion yuan. The Anhui base began construction in 2023, with a total investment of 7 billion yuan and a planned capacity of 10GWh.
With the launch of the Qianjiang project, Tai-Lan's solid-state battery multi-point manufacturing network covering the core regions of new energy nationwide will be further improved.
In April 2024, TAI LAN New Energy announced the development of an ultra-high energy density all-solid-state lithium metal battery with a single cell capacity of 120Ah and a measured energy density of 720Wh/kg.
In the same year, in November, Tblue New Energy and Changan Automobile jointly released a membrane-free semi-solid state.Lithium batteryAccording to reports, Tailan New Energy has achieved a breakthrough in membrane-free solid-state battery technology through disruptive innovation, being the first in the industry to eliminate the separator. The company plans to verify the membrane-free semi-solid-state battery in vehicle testing by 2026, achieve small-scale production and continuous validation in 2026, and reach mass production by 2027.
