Anhui bodi new material technology 50,000-ton polyurethane resin and 10,000-ton waterborne polyurethane resin project
Recently, the Xuancheng Ecological Environment Bureau released the public notice for the acceptance of the "Environmental Impact Report (Draft for Review) of Anhui Bodi New Material Technology Co., Ltd.'s Project for an Annual Production of 50,000 Tons of Polyurethane Resin and 10,000 Tons of Waterborne Polyurethane Resin."

Project Overview
Project Name: Annual Production of 50,000 Tons of Polyurethane Resin and 10,000 Tons of Waterborne Polyurethane Resin Project
Construction Unit: Anhui Bodi New Material Technology Co., Ltd.
Construction Nature: New Build
Construction content: The project plans a total investment of 300 million yuan, with a land area of approximately 45 mu. Equipment to be purchased includes polyurethane (PU) reactors, polyurethane polyol reactors, explosion-proof weighing modules, platform scales, and other equipment. After the project is fully constructed and reaches full production, it will have an annual output of 50,000 tons of polyurethane resin and 10,000 tons of waterborne polyurethane resin, achieve annual sales revenue of 550 million yuan, and pay 20 million yuan in taxes.
Project Investment: The total project investment is 300 million RMB, of which 9 million RMB is allocated to environmental protection, accounting for 3% of the total investment.
Project Background
Anhui Bodi New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. is an investment and construction project funded by Yancheng Bodi Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. The project is planned and built relying on the parent company’s mature industrial foundation. Yancheng Bodi was established in 2018 and is located in Sheyang, Jiangsu. It introduced advanced polyurethane production technologies from South Korea and Italy, and has now formed an annual production capacity of 20,000 tons of polyurethane resin, with an annual output value of nearly 300 million yuan; its products extensively cover fields such as textiles and transportation, and its sales network spans multiple provinces, laying a solid technical and market foundation for the project’s implementation.
Polyurethane materials can be manufactured into a variety of products by adjusting raw material ratios and production processes, and are widely used in key sectors of the national economy. China has become the world’s largest producer and consumer of polyurethane; since the end of the 13th Five-Year Plan period, industry growth has slowed and it has formally entered a phase of high-quality development centered on technological upgrading. At the national level, ecological and environmental protection are accorded high importance, and multiple policies have been issued to strengthen comprehensive control of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), bringing VOCs under strict regulation and promoting source substitution. Driven by the “dual-carbon” goals, green and low-carbon production has become the mainstream development trend in the industry. The “14th Five-Year Plan Comprehensive Work Plan for Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction” further clarifies the key requirements for comprehensive VOCs management. The green manufacturing of new polyurethane materials and the engineering application of technological achievements in flexible product and process design are critical elements for strengthening, expanding, and sustaining the industry chain. The VOC emissions and pollution problems associated with the use of more energy-efficient, environmentally friendly, and safer polyurethane resins in downstream application areas (including inks, varnishes, coatings, etc.) urgently need to be addressed.
Against the backdrop of industry transformation and policy guidance, Anhui Bodie has planned and implemented this project, with core products being polyurethane resin and water-based polyurethane resin, precisely tailored for textile, tent, umbrella, and other fabric yarn-fixing applications. The products offer prominent core advantages: functionally, they can effectively enhance fabric bonding strength and weather resistance, thereby extending the service life of end products; environmentally, they significantly reduce VOC emissions in downstream production processes, addressing pollution issues at the source and meeting the industry’s demand for green upgrades. Relying on the parent company’s mature technological foundation and extensive market network, the products are fully aligned with national industrial policies and can precisely meet downstream market demands, helping the textile and outdoor product industry chain achieve a green transformation.
On August 15, 2025, the Ningguo Economic and Technological Development Zone Management Committee filed the record for Anhui Bodi New Material Technology Co., Ltd.'s project "Annual Production of 50,000 Tons of Polyurethane Resin and 10,000 Tons of Waterborne Polyurethane Resin," project code 2508-341862-04-01-294517.
