The biodegradable modified materials project of Xiaocao Green Energy (Mudanjiang) New Materials Co., Ltd. successfully passed the filing and approval process on August 21. The project has a total planned investment of 860 million yuan and will be implemented in two phases.
In the first phase of the project, an investment of 500 million yuan is planned, with the intention to lease standardized factory buildings and office spaces in the Yongxing Industrial Park to launch the production and processing of biodegradable pelletizing, biodegradable plastic products, and disposable tableware. During this phase, 11 production lines will be put into operation. At the same time, the limestone mining and processing project in Linkou County will also be carried out concurrently, with 6 production lines to be invested. The second phase of the project plans to reserve existing land in the Economic Development Zone for the construction of a new facility with an annual production capacity of 300,000 tons of biodegradable plastics and deep-processed products.
According to the Color Masterbatch Industry Network, as early as May 12 this year, the Mudanjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone in Heilongjiang held a signing ceremony with Xiaocao Green Energy (Shanghai) New Materials Co., Ltd. for the biodegradable modified materials project, laying an important foundation for the project’s subsequent approval and construction.
