40 Days to Create a New City Landmark: Jingshi 3D Assists in Completing the Largest 3D Printed Artwork in Deyang, Sichuan
In October 2025, Nanji Bear learned that in Deyang, Sichuan, a striking set of public art installations was completed. This urban landscape was completed by Jinshi 3D and is the largest 3D printed landmark group built by the company in China to date.All works are manufactured using their self-developed FGF1800Pro large-scale 3D printer for integrated forming.It demonstrates a combination of high efficiency and high precision.

The FGF1800Pro is a 3D printer focused on large-format fused granulate fabrication (FGF) technology, designed for industrial-grade production. It can handle polymer composites and granulate materials, occupying less than three square meters. The device is equipped with a nozzle diameter of up to 8 millimeters and features a 50-kilogram sealed material silo, ensuring stable material supply through pneumatic methods. This machine offers high speed, high strength, and strong weather resistance, making it particularly suitable for long-term outdoor use. It is currently widely used in sculpture creation, furniture production, energy equipment molds, and mining machinery, among other fields.

The art project in Deyang includes several large installations: a city symbol in the shape of the letter "D" with a diameter of 12 meters, a 10-meter-high replica sculpture of the Sanxingdui Sun Wheel with an internal lighting system, and a series of life-size models of industrial equipment such as wind turbines and gas turbines.
From design to printing to on-site installation,The construction period of the entire landmark group is less than 40 days.This extremely high construction efficiency allows traditional public art projects, which used to take several months, to be completed in a short period of time. Jinshi 3D states that large-scale 3D printing is changing the way urban landmarks are constructed.
