212 Upgraded T01 Inspector to Be Launched at Chengdu Auto Show

Recently, it has been learned from relevant channels that the upgraded version of the 212 off-road vehicle, the T01 Review Officer, will be officially launched at the Chengdu Auto Show. As an annual facelift version, the new car mainly focuses on optimizing and upgrading the exterior, interior, and configuration, enhancing its overall competitiveness.

The official stated that the new car has five major upgrades, including a visual refresh, interior upgrades, enhanced off-road capabilities, improved comfort, and a unique sense of ceremony. The exterior continues to use the classic "boxy" design, which is avant-garde and highly recognizable. In addition to detailed optimizations, the biggest highlight is the addition of four new exterior colors, namely Dragon Blood Red, Moon Rock Gray, Singing Sand Yellow, and Starlight Silver.

In terms of parameters, the upgraded version of the 212 off-road vehicle, the T01 Inspector, has an approach angle of 40°, a departure angle of 36°, a minimum ground clearance of 235mm, and a maximum wading depth of up to 850mm. As a compact SUV, its length, width, and height are 4705mm, 1895mm, and 1936mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 2860mm.

The interior features new black/brown color schemes, which not only exude simplicity and elegance but also create a strong sense of quality. In terms of configuration, the new model adds a heated steering wheel and ventilated seats, significantly enhancing comfort. The heated steering wheel system can achieve rapid warming within 20 seconds in temperatures as low as -20°C. The ventilated seats use a “cushion blowing and backrest suction” method, providing better cooling effects.

In terms of power, the new car is still equipped with a 2.0T turbocharged engine, with a maximum power of 185kW and a maximum torque of 410N·m. The transmission system is paired with an 8-speed automatic/manual gearbox. In addition to the non-load-bearing body, the upgraded T01 Inspector will also be equipped with a central differential with locking function and a rear axle differential lock, with the option to select a front axle differential lock.
