2026 Seal 07 DM-i Official Images Released at Chengdu Auto Show
Recently, the official images of the 2026 BYD Seal 07 DM-i were released. It is reported that the new car will make its official debut at the 2025 Chengdu Auto Show, which opens on August 29. The current model is priced between 139,800 and 195,800 yuan, and the new model is expected to achieve a "price reduction and configuration upgrade."
The exterior of the new car continues to adopt an ocean aesthetic design, with a closed grille on the front and sharp, narrow headlights. The air ducts are wide and heavy, providing a good sense of sportiness. The new car also adds a lidar and may be equipped with the "Eye of the God B" assisted driving system, which provides urban assisted driving capabilities.
At the rear, the new car features a through-type taillight, giving it a very futuristic look. In terms of dimensions, its length, width, and height are 4995mm, 1900mm, and 1495mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 2900mm. Compared to the current model, the length has increased by 15mm and the width by 5mm. It is positioned as a mid-size sedan.
In terms of powertrain, the new vehicle will be equipped with a plug-in hybrid system consisting of either a 1.5L engine or a 1.5T engine. The former engine has a maximum power output of 74 kW, while the latter has a maximum power output of 115 kW. The maximum power of the drive motors is 160 kW and 200 kW, respectively, with CLTC pure electric ranges of 70 km and 125 km.
