On the morning of March 21, a conference on promoting the high-quality development of the private economy in Henan Province and a centralized opening and completion event for major projects were held in Zhengzhou, marking the official production launch of the Obote green environmental protection new material project by Puyang Lianzhong Xinye Chemical Co., Ltd.
The Bot Green Environmental Protection New Materials Project is an extension project in the high-end chemical industry's niche sector, with a total investment of 2.08 billion yuan. It mainly includes facilities for cyclopentane and cyclopentene production. After reaching full capacity, it will annually produce 10,000 tons of high-energy fuel, ranking among the top three in the country; 32,000 tons of eco-friendly foaming agents, accounting for over 50% of the national market, making it a leader in its field; 25 million standard cubic meters of hydrogen; and 15,000 tons of photoresist solvents that can achieve import substitution. The total output value of the project is expected to exceed 4 billion yuan.
Aobote Green Environmental Protection New Materials Project
The project is located in the Puyang Economic Development Zone and is the green and environmentally friendly new materials project of Aobote New Materials Co., Ltd., which is a key provincial project. It is invested and constructed by Puyang Lianzhong Xingye Chemical Co., Ltd., with a total investment of 2.08 billion yuan, and will be built in three phases.
The first phase involves the construction of a production facility with an annual output of 30,000 tons of high-efficiency thermal insulation materials such as cyclopentane and n-pentane, as well as a production unit for 10,000 tons of aerospace high-energy fuels; the second phase will establish a production capacity of 15,000 tons of cyclopentane, 15,000 tons of cyclopentene, and a hydrogen production unit with a capacity of 25 million standard cubic meters; the third phase will build a production facility with an annual output of 100,000 tons of olefin copolymers. The project is expected to generate an annual output value of 4 billion yuan and taxes of 500 million yuan.
COC/COP cyclic olefin polymers have excellent properties and are mainly used in optics, medical applications, and packaging: Cyclic olefin polymers (COC/COP) are materials formed by the copolymerization of olefins with cyclic olefins or the homopolymerization of cyclic olefin monomers, with COC being created from the copolymerization of olefins and cyclic olefin monomers, and COP being formed from the homopolymerization of cyclic olefin monomers.
