On the morning of March 21, the Henan Province Conference on Promoting the High-Quality Development of the Private Economy and the Concentrated Commencement and Completion of Major Projects was held in Zhengzhou, marking the official production of the Obote Green Environmental Protection New Materials Project by Puyang Lianzhong Xingye Chemical Co., Ltd.
The Bote Green Environmental New Materials Project is a high-end chemical subdivision chain project with a total investment of 2.08 billion yuan. It primarily involves the construction of devices for cyclopentane and cyclopentene. Upon reaching full capacity, it will produce 10,000 tons of high-energy fuel annually, ranking among the top three in the country, 32,000 tons of environmentally friendly foaming agents, capturing over 50% of the national market and becoming the industry champion in this segment, 25 million standard cubic meters of hydrogen, and 15,000 tons of photoresist solvents, achieving import substitution. The total output value of the project will exceed 4 billion yuan.
The Aobote Green Environmental Protection New Materials Project, located in the Puyang Economic Development Zone, is a key provincial project invested and constructed by Puyang Lianzhong Xingye Chemical Co., Ltd.Total investment of 2.08 billion yuan, divided into three phases of construction.The first phase will construct a production facility with an annual output of 30,000 tons of high-efficiency thermal insulation materials based on cyclopentane and n-pentane, as well as a 10,000-ton aerospace high-energy fuel production unit; the second phase will establish a production facility with an annual output of 15,000 tons of cyclopentane, 15,000 tons of cyclopentene, and a hydrogen production unit with an output of 25 million standard cubic meters.The construction of a production facility for 100,000 tons of cyclic olefin copolymer per year in three phases.The projected annual output value of the project is 4 billion yuan, with profits and taxes amounting to 500 million yuan.
Cyclic olefin copolymers (COC/COP) are optical-grade materials with a range of excellent properties formed by the copolymerization of olefins and cyclic olefins or the homopolymerization of cyclic olefins. Among them, COC is formed by the copolymerization of olefin and cyclic olefin monomers, while COP is formed by the homopolymerization of cyclic olefin monomers.
COC/COP has high transparency, low birefringence, good biocompatibility, strong insulation, and can enhance the heat resistance of ethylene, making it widely used in optical, packaging, and medical fields. It also has a broad existing market in areas such as VR/AR and soft-pack battery aluminum-plastic films.
