$1 Billion Total Investment: Seagull Flying Car Global Headquarters Project Commences
According to the news from the Wujiang District Media Center in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Seagull Flying Car Group Headquarters Project was held on August 13th. Once completed, the project will become an important engine for the innovative development of the low-altitude economy in Wujiang, Suzhou, Jiangsu.
The Seagull Flying Car Group, a key enterprise set to settle in Wujiang in 2024, has commenced its headquarters project with a total investment of approximately 1 billion yuan. The focus will be on the research, development, manufacturing, sales, and low-altitude flight operations of flying cars, eVTOL aircraft, flight control systems, autonomous driving systems, and hydrogen-lithium hybrid energy. The project aims to create the "Seagull-Taihu New City Flying Car Industry Base," which will integrate the headquarters building, research and development center, experimental testing center, flight training and experience center, and production base. Once fully operational, the project is expected to produce 3,000 aircraft annually, with an annual sales revenue of 800 million yuan.
In July last year, Seagull Flying Car Group's headquarters project was signed in Wujiang, and subsequently, research and development, as well as production, quickly took off. Seagull Group has successfully developed multiple low-altitude aircraft and obtained several "Special Airworthiness Certificates for Civil Unmanned Aircraft" issued by the Civil Aviation Administration of China, qualifying it for commercial use. This allows for comprehensive application services and large-scale implementation, making it an important force in driving the development of the low-altitude economy.
