In July 2024, the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) announced the provision of standard evaluation services for SAF producers through the EU SAF Information Exchange Hub to support the expansion of SAF usage. In September 2024, the International Air Transport Association (IATA) announced the launch of the Matchmaker platform to connect airlines and SAF suppliers.
