For years, we have not only been one of the leading providers of testing services but also equip the laboratories of leading bicycle manufacturers and magazines such as TOUR, BIKE, or E-BIKE. In the accredited bicycle/e-bike testing laboratories of the Zedler Institute, testing is carried out according to the following standards: DIN EN ISO 4210:2023-05 - DIN EN ISO 8098:2014-10 - DIN EN ISO 11243:2016-12 - ISO 5775-1:2014-09 - DIN EN 15194:2018-11 - DIN EN 16054:2012-11 - DIN EN 71-1:2018-12 - DIN 79010:2020-02 – DIN EN 17404:2022. For you as a bicycle manufacturer and importer, the great advantage is to know in advance how customers will perceive the new bicycle frames, forks, and other components, and how they are likely to be evaluated by bicycle magazines, especially if they use similar testing procedures. This saves you from unpleasant or even legally relevant surprises, as you can make adjustments and optimizations already during the prototype stage. The testing laboratory is accredited by the German Accreditation Body (DAkkS) according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018-03 for bicycles and e-bikes. The current scope of accreditation can be found in the annex to the certificate and the internal document for the flexible range.
