Zawadi means “gift” in Swahili and that’s what our skincare is: a gift from nature to your skin and soul. Each jar is handcrafted with intention, using African beauty secrets passed down through generations — wild herbs, nourishing butters, cold-pressed oils, and the healing power of scent. The journey began after I had my first child. Her delicate skin was struggling with eczema. I was battling breakouts and burnout. So I returned to the wisdom of my grandmothers, gently infusing oils in sunlight to awaken their potency, and blending by intuition, guided by scent and memory. I whipped shea by hand, trusting my nose and spirit to know what belonged together. What we created healed us both. Zawadi Naturals came to life after my second child, when I knew these creations weren’t just for us, they were meant to be shared. This is more than skincare. It’s a return to Eden. To wholeness. Earth-born care for the skin and soul, rooted in tradition, elevated by intention, and offered as a gift to restore what the world has worn thin.
