Young Lives Transformed Empowering young South Australians for over 36 years We believe every young person deserves to thrive – not just survive. Approximately 384,000 (12%) young people aged 15 to 24 aren’t in employment, education or training. 34% Young Australians are in danger of being the first generation in memory to have lower living standards than their parents’ generation. More than 1 in 5 rate their mental health as poor or very poor. More than half of young Australians aged 18 to 24 feel lonely. At Youth Options, we want our young people to know they don’t have to navigate these challenges alone. We provide support to young people experiencing social disadvantage. Our programs build confidence and skills through activities focused on social and emotional learning, skill development, and work preparedness. Youth Options is committed to transforming lives by offering guidance and opportunities, walking alongside young people on their journey without judgement and providing a safety net. Youth Options offers pathways to meaningful employment through our specialised service model. We strive to equip all young people with the necessary tools and opportunities to realise their full potential, benefit from work, and achieve social and economic participation. We view each young person as an individual and tailor their learning outcomes to their strengths, abilities and passions.
