Stone wools are the only completely non-combustible thermal insulation material, used both in residential construction for insulating flat roofs, sloping roofs, facades, and even foundations, as well as for technical insulation in the air conditioning, ventilation, metallurgy industries, etc. Stone wools are also excellent sound absorbers in acoustic insulation systems. They also serve as infill for fire protection partitions, passages, and fire doors. Wood wools are a classic insulation material commonly used in wooden construction, which, due to their high density and thus high thermal capacity, provide excellent protection against heat loss in winter and additionally protect the building from overheating even in the hottest summer days. Wood wools are diffusively open, making them excellent for modernizing older buildings, not just wooden ones. Sheep wools are a naturally renewable, lightweight, and completely safe material during installation, environmentally friendly insulation material, with a very high ability to "breathe," meaning they absorb moisture from the air and then release it without negatively impacting their thermal insulation properties. Sheep wool is very elastic and resilient, which significantly enhances acoustic insulation due to both airborne and impact sound. Ceramic wools are specialized insulation wools made from aluminosilicate fibers with very high maximum operating temperatures and exceptionally high lambda coefficients at temperatures above 600 degrees Celsius. These features, along with high chemical resistance, make them ideal for use in foundries, power plants, drilling platforms, laboratories, and many other heavy industry sectors. Jute wools are an ecological insulation with high thermal capacity, particularly recommended for roof insulation, very flexible, easily placed between beams in sloping roofs. They are made from recycled single-use bags for transporting coffee and cocoa beans, and also available in a completely natural version with a biopolymeric binder based on polylactides, for individuals wishing to build a completely natural home free of artificial materials.
