WOMED SAS

We have entered a new world, a Women's World, where  women immensely contribute to a more peaceful and equitable society, as they assume more and more top responsibilities in corporations, world affairs, and society at large.  We at Womed embrace this Women's World wholeheartedly by offering women better care for their specific health needs, which have traditionally been low research priorities. Womed was born and has been growing with the support of a constellation of women stars who share our common mission and encourage our endeavors on a daily basis. We are very grateful to them and wish to honor them for their hard work and dedication. Womed stems from research conducted at Pr Garric's biopolymer lab at the University of Montpellier, France, and which aimed at finding an elegant solution to an unmet medical need in gynecologic surgery: intrauterine adhesions. The research project started in 2013 and was conducted as the thesis work of several PhD students. At the conclusion of the thesis in 2018, Womed SAS was spun off to make the invention available to millions of women around the world, and expand the use of the technology to multiple uterine indications. ​ Womed is dedicated to quality and is ISO 13485 certified.
