Glenrowan West Solar Farm is online! In a key milestone, the first export of power took place on 15th December 2020! In the final phase of the project, construction will be completed on blocks of inverters and modules. These are tested and commissioned before being sequentially combined to generate at a series of larger hold points under the supervision of AusNet Services and the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO). A big thank you to the entire Yurika team who completed, back energised and handed over a mighty fine looking substation in early December! Meanwhile, All Energy Contracting and Signal Energy continue to do a fantastic job completing the mechanical and electrical installations of the solar farm! WIRSOL thanks all the staff and stakeholders in the project for their hard work this year, and wishes you a Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas! WIRSOL Australia is proud to serve as the Project Management Company for Glenrowan West Solar Farm, alongside our partners Wirtgen Invest, WiNRG GmbH and Signal Energy Australia Pty Ltd. The project will generate up to 110MW-AC for the Australian National Electricity Market, providing the annual equivalent energy of 41,000 Australian Households. After a challenging year for all, we are proud to be ending 2020 on a high at Glenrowan West Solar Farm!
