We have been in the glazing industry for over 30 years. We started Windows Etc because we wanted to give the industry a client focused business that cared about each relationship, large or small. Windows Etc has an ‘Etc’ because we realised that there was more to giving great service than just supplying the windows themselves. We’ve set out to provide the region’s best and most innovative trade and retail glazing showroom. We want to make sure that every partner has the opportunity to send their clients to us to get a real feel for how their projects might turn out in reality. We want to ensure that fitters, builders and end-users get to see the latest leading products in a comfortable, pressure free environment. We’ve made a conscious decision not to become a retail window outlet but to be the best trade partner we can be. To achieve this, listening to our current partners, we needed to provide a space where builders, architects, window fitters and tradespeople could send THEIR customers to see trade windows in a comfortable space where they can make informed choices about potentially expensive projects. Home owners and developers can see extensive ranges of glazing products without laborious visits to other people’s homes.Our purpose is clear, we understand that our success is built upon the success of our partners. We have to support our industry to succeed in the best way we can. What sets good businesses apart is not always what they do but how they go about doing it. Right at the top of our list is integrity; doing the right thing when you know nobody else is looking. We live out integrity by making sure that we deal with our clients in an even-handed way; we give each business the same opportunities to work with us, regardless of their size. We believe that customer service is paramount; our opening times are built around our partners’ needs and we think of every other way in which we can help their business day run more smoothly. We recognise that we all make mistakes but it’s how you put them right that counts. We’re not perfect here, but we’ll make sure that our trade customers AND their customers get the very best treatment and we’ll treat our partners’ customers as if they were one of our own.
