The eyewear house at Wilke Optik has been an internationally recognized meeting point for connoisseurs and collectors of designer and vintage glasses in Hamburg since 1977. Founder Karl-Heinz Wilke outfits film productions and musicals with authentic witnesses of eyewear history. In the store run by Mr. Wilke and his daughter Janina, you can also find new trend models from selected designers. They also cherish and care for these in their in-house museum with an online shop, where more than 500 individual pieces have accumulated. "In the first place, we are of course an optical business, where vision consultation is our top priority," explains Janina Wilke. To optimally determine the individual lens and to achieve the most accurate centering, the eyes are comprehensively measured with an accurate 3D vision test.
