The company was established in Australia in 2000 and has a head office and factory in Western Sydney with an additional office and storage yard in Rockingham, Western Australia, servicing the western seaboard and Asian markets. In addition, Walcon has recently opened a factory and office in Shenzhen, China, to service the Asia-based markets. The Group, led by Walcon Marine Limited, based in the UK, commenced operations in 1963 and now boasts 58 years of experience designing and constructing floating marina systems and has installed an incredible 120,000 plus berths worldwide in this time with distribution covering a large majority of the international market. WMA’s first introduction to the marina industry in Australia with its quality floating pontoon systems provided the prestigious Sydney International Boat Show supplying the Boating Industry Association with temporary berthing and walkway facilities.
