Vrienden van Suriname

The Fundatie for Christian Interests in Tiel was founded in 1909 by Henriëtte and Judith Spiering to manage their spiritual and material legacy. The Spiering sisters aimed to provide assistance to people in their physical and spiritual needs. The Spiering Sisters had a strong relationship with Suriname. It is particularly pleasing to report that the board of the Fundatie has also made a donation of 5,000 euros to the Tiel Foundation Friends of Suriname this year. This makes it possible to ship a container with various aid goods, such as wheelchairs, bandages, and school furniture, to Suriname. With these goods, many poor, needy Surinamese will be helped. The board of the Fundatie is therefore particularly thanked for this wonderful donation.
