Company History VGXI was founded around technology for optimized, large scale plasmid DNA purification. Since its inception, VGXI has been dedicated to manufacturing GMP-compliant products for both clinical and commercial applications. 2020 - 2025 VGXI breaks ground for New Headquarters and Manufacturing Facility in Conroe, TX 2015 - 2019 VGXI celebrated the opening of the Advanced Biopharmaceuticals International Center of Support (ABICS) at their facility in The Woodlands, TX. VGXI celebrated the grand opening of the Small Scale GMP Production Plant. VGXI celebrated the grand opening of the Flex Scale GMP Production Plant. 2009 - 2014 VGXI completed an expansion of its GMP manufacturing facility in The Woodlands. VGXI launched its Highly Documented (HD) plasmid manufacturing service to supply raw material for GMP virus and cell therapy production. 2003 - 2008 Manufacturing of the first clinical FDA trial batch was completed. The company transitioned to a Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO). The company was acquired by GeneOne Life Science, Inc. and all manufacturing activities were aligned into VGXI, Inc. 1997 - 2002 ADVISYS, Inc., was founded as a gene therapy company. Offices opened at the current location in The Woodlands, TX. New VGXI Headquarters VGXI is excited to announce our new headquarters and expanded manufacturing facility is now operational at Deison Technology Park in Conroe, TX. Spanning 120,000 square feet, our Deison technology Park features state-of-the-art production technologies, flexible fermentation capacity ranging from 10L to 1500L, and expanded GMP fill/finish capabilities. These capabilities enable us to support our clients as they achieve successful late phase and commercial launch of their advanced therapeutic products.
