The new Vetter PPE Changing Tent is equipped with a compressed air connection and is ready for operation within 1 minute. It adapts conveniently to pavements or behind the emergency vehicle and with two cabins, offers sufficient space at the place of deployment for squads to change their cloths. With fire-fighting operations, fire fighters are not only exposed to hazards from the deployment, but also, e.g., from harmful substances caused by the fire: The emergency personnel are frequently exposed to a lot of poisonous and carcinogenic substances – an everyday risk that is a health hazard for men and women. To minimise the risk to health, in DGUV Information 205-035, the German Statutory Accident Insurance (DGUV) specifies that contaminated PPE must be taken off at the place of use and replaced with a clean set of clothes. Quickly erected and space saving design The tent comprises only one packed product and using compressed air or blower fan, is ready for use within a few minutes. To make erection even easier, the side walls, partition wall and floor tarpaulin are already fixed to the tent itself, allowing them to be automatically erected. Using the hook-and-loop system, the partition wall is optionally secured in just one action.
