That is to say, in addition to equipment supplies, we are able to design and manufacture high-quality machines. Looking back, Van den Heuvel was founded in 1948 as the Gebroeders Van den Heuvel construction company. Over time we became more active in civil engineering projects. Initially the focus was on dike reinforcement, especially after the Great Flood of 1953. In this period, we maintained and repaired our own machines. Gradually, we took on more and more overhauls and maintenance of third-party equipment. Towards the late eighties, our service department had grown so large that we decided to proceed as an independent company under the name Van den Heuvel Reparatie & Service. Since January 2004, Van den Heuvel has consisted of three BVs: Handel & Techniek, Metaalwerken and Reparatie & Revisie. Major steps towards the future, In January 1995, we were granted Benelux import rights for the Finnish premium brand Junttan and started servicing the piling-equipment market. In 2006, Marc Timmerman acquired the first shares in Van den Heuvel – in the same year that he took over L. Timmerman & Zonen B.V. from his father – and in 2009 a full takeover was completed. Finally, in 2017, Van den Heuvel Cranes & Services was added as a BV, when we were granted the exclusive distribution rights for the Sennebogen Crane Line products. A versatile partner, Van den Heuvel is your partner in the piling, excavation, demolition, transshipment and road-construction sectors. We only work with premium brands and deliver bespoke solutions for our clients. This relies on our own design and engineering department, and production facilities. On this solid basis, we guarantee that each project is designed and realised in line with strict agreements on delivery times, quality and price.
