Valeth Group

Valeth Group was established in 1990, as Valeth Hightech Composites Pvt. Ltd. in the outskirts of Chennai. It was set up for the manufacturing of High Silica Fabric. After successfully developing & demonstrating the technology to do so, in the last 27 years Valeth has diversified to manufacturing a variety of materials, components and complete systems for various organizations in the Space, Aviation, Defence & Marine sectors. Over the years Valeth has partnered with several R&D organizations to jointly develop the technology for a wide variety of products. Working with organizations such as ISRO, DRDL, ARDE, CVRDE, CPDC, etc. has allowed Valeth to assimilate a wide variety of technologies. The first manufacturing centre was set up in Chennai in the year 1990 for the manufacturing of High Silica Fabric for ISRO. Today, this facility is used in the construction of a wide variety of products, primarily for ISRO. From carbon tubes for satellite structural beams, ablative compression moulded liners & silica tiles for thermal protection systems of the Indian version of the space shuttle, the RLV; this facility also manufacturers two products for which we are the only manufacturer in India, licensed by ISRO. In 2008, diversified to the manufacturing of high performance boats for patrol, surveillance, interception and so on. After execution of a few orders, a dedicated boat yard was set-up in 2010 at Cochin, India. Today boats up to 45 meters in length can be manufactured for a wide variety of tactical and utility operations. From composites molding, equipment outfitting, wood working, upholstery, trials & testing are all performed in-house at our yard, located on the Periyar river, which has access to the sea. To cater to increasing demand for Valeth’s products & services, and due to constraints in space at the Chennai facility, Valeth set up a third unit in Hyderabad in 2016. This 20,000 Sqm. site is to cater to mainly high volume production of defence and aviation related products. With new, larger capacity machinery, new projects are executed in this facility. With ample built-up area, as well as land available for construction of further buildings, Valeth has the capability to take on new, high volume projects, which require large area for production as well as for setting up of assembly lines.
