Union Taishan

Grand Master Lopes, initiated his practice in Kung-Fu Taisan (Tai Shan | ) in January 1975, in the city of São Paulo, being a disciple of Master Chen Hwa Tong, a precursor of Kung-Fu Taisan (Tai Shan | ) in Brazil, and Professor Markus Tulios. Subsequently he trained with Sergio Batarelli, one of the first teachers trained by the Taisan (Tai Shan | ) Academy. In 1979 he graduated to black belt by the Brazilian Association of Kung-Fu Taisan (Tai Shan | ) of São Paulo and on June 12, 1979 he founded the Union Taisan (Tai Shan | ) of Kung-Fu, in the city of Osasco, where the Union's headquarters are located to this day. Kung-Fu is an ancient art that brings several benefits to its practitioners. The Taisan (Tai Shan | ) style (Lion style) has been in Brazil since the 70s. The Union Taisan (Tai Shan | ) has already trained several instructors and teachers, bringing health and developing various skills in its practitioners. Kung-Fu is a profoundly rich tool, which acts effectively in the growth and development of the human being in all its areas of action. As physical activity, it offers us, combating stress, fatigue, weight control, improving sleep quality and consequently better quality of life. Kung-Fu is a martial art with philosophical principles, a path, a lifestyle. In its natural state, it includes a wide range of exercises that can be performed with weapons or bare hands (empty), with or without a partner, adaptable for men and women from the lowest to the highest age group, enjoying a normal state of health and fit to practice sports. The objective of its practice is to develop self-defense techniques, establish harmony of spirit, provide health and well-being to the practitioner.
