UNION GLASHÜTTE embodies the German watchmaking tradition of striving for perfection, just as it did 130 years ago, and has consistently adhered to the guiding principles set forth by its founder, Johannes Dürrstein. When he founded UNION in 1893, he was determined to produce high-quality watches at an affordable price. Today, we continue to uphold this guiding principle and carry it into the future. At Union Glashütte, we use selected high-quality materials. Here you will find an overview of the components of our watches. UNION GLASHÜTTE watches only use mechanical movements, which have been carefully designed, assembled and adjusted by watchmakers in the Saxon town of Glashütte.
