UMA Precision Machining

Founded in 2000, UMA Precision Machining (“UMA”) began its operations with one machine in a garage near the Twin Cities of Minnesota. Over the years the company grew the operations and customer base and became a trusted partner for developing and prototyping medical devices. In 2015, the company achieved ISO 9001 certification. In 2020, Prather Capital Partners acquired a majority stake in the company. Today, UMA Precision Machining is a fully integrated medical device contract manufacturer, working out of a 25,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility, offering prototyping and production services to over 30 active customers in the medical device, medical instrumentation and industrial instrumentation industries. In 2022, the company achieved ISO 13485 certification.
