TWS Automation

TWS Automation is an Italian company established in 1997 with the precise strategy of satisfying the needs of small and medium volumes of SMT market productions. Since then, more than 1,600 lines, typically composed of a screen printer, an inserter and an oven, have been delivered worldwide. TWS Automation do Brasil was created in 2008, based in Caxias do Sul – RS, with the aim of manufacturing and distributing its equipment in the Brazilian market, and today has around 300 lines of machines installed throughout the Brazilian territory. TWS Automation is part of the TWS Group, a developer and manufacturer of special navigation systems for marine, aeronautical and automotive applications. Originally, TWS Automation was created focusing on target customers, similar companies whose demand is divided into quantities ranging from tens to tens of thousands of pieces. And, in fact, the TWS Group was not only the first customer, but, during its expansion, increased the number of machines instead of acquiring a higher volume line that would compromise flexibility. Over the years, TWS has enriched its range of machines and accessories, while the speed and precision of its products have evolved with the advancement of technologies, but without ever changing its philosophy. TWS Automation machines offer the best compromise between performance and simplicity, making maintenance accessible to most users and thus avoiding the high cost of maintenance contracts, while an uncomplicated design conceived for functionality offers the best format for the industry, saving space within the factory. All of this is possible through the group's increasing and advanced technical resources, thus allowing a total internal approach to all aspects of its machines, from mechanical design to electronics and software, unlike most competitors who choose methods of integrating standardized systems available on the market (e.g. Motors, vision systems, software libraries, etc.) Due to the high customization approach, TWS Automation products still have no competitor on the market with accessibility, quality, quick setup and quantity of feeders when companies' needs range from prototyping to medium productions.
