Hi! Shannon & Breelyn here… When the idea for Two Chicks Jerky began we were both in the service industry and, like today, avid adventurers, not knowing that jerky would end up being our passion. The two of us started making jerky in our kitchen, sourcing local ingredients, to take on hikes, road trips, concerts, camping, long work shifts, and everything else in-between. Since day one, it was important to us to not only have a healthy, high-protein, portable snack, but to also know where the meat came from, how it was raised, and what exactly was going into and staying out of our marinade. Soon our friends and family started repeatedly requesting more of it and we quickly realized our passion. After creating a Kickstarter and getting the funding going, we were off!
