Tramuntanababy is a new brand inspired in Mallorca. We use Majorcan traditional fabrics ​​for baby strollers hoods, baby changers, car seats, bibs, pacifiers clips, covers for BabyBjorn and more. Enjoy it! Tramuntanababy was born from the strength and energy to develop a new project that boosts the local economy and sustainable consumption. We wanted to pay tribute to an ancient tradition in Mallorca, Fabrics ‘de Lenguas’. A product with tradition, quality and durability for kids. It can be shared between siblings and inherited from parents to children. There is a belief that the fabric’s origin is oriental. Thanks to the strategic location of Mallorca it was a stopping point of the ships that made the trade routes between Asia and Europe. These fabrics over the years have evolved and become part of Mallorca as a traditional product. In fact, the famous Oriental «Ikats» have a strong resemblance to the «Fabrics de Lenguas» of the island. Hand-dyed fabrics, with the discrete and faded drawings with bright and irregular colors. In Tramuntanababy the clothing is designed and produced in Spain without intermediaries. We do not have a mass production nor follow the precepts of the fashion empire.
