Born in the heart of the Amazon rainforest, Tora Brasil was conceived with a clear vision: to unite love for nature, passion for design, and commitment to sustainability. Each piece we produce is made from FSC-certified wood, ensuring that we not only respect but also contribute to the preservation of the world’s largest tropical rainforest.

We are Tora Brasil, founded by Cristiano Valle in 2003. He inherited his great-grandfather Olavo Ferraz’s love for fauna and flora. Since childhood, he used to wander through the forests of the farm, which is the first private reserve in Brazil. He lived in the Amazon region from 2000 to 2005 and visits forest management areas 3 to 4 times a year.
The Tora Brasil pieces are exclusive, signed, and take into account the sustainable development of the Amazon region, respecting nature and the people who live in it.
No tree, its branches or roots are the same, and these (im)perfections of the natural raw material is what makes us so special and unique. We make sure to integrate and display each vein, contour and mark of time in the pieces.
Our raw materials are personally chosen by Cris and extracted from responsible forest management. In addition to ensuring the exclusivity and authenticity of our pieces, this has also earned us FSC® certification that demonstrates our respect for the fauna, flora, and people who inhabit the forest.
