Tom's Boatshed

This site has a growing collection of my boat designs – big  and small. It includes design content from my studies while attending The Landing School in Arundel, Maine, and from my past experience as a boatbuilder some many years ago. The work isn’t static; I have a tendency to overthink things – so I will “bin” stuff and rework, revise, or start over again – maybe you’ll find that as entertaining as I have found it, and visit again. My ideas about what boats should look like are pretty traditional – but as time goes on and the collection expands you’ll hopefully see how my comfort zone is expanding with new ideas – or  different perspectives on an old ideas.
