We build electronics for bikers. From the idea to the proven product. We are three enthusiastic motorcyclists and Harley-Davidson® lovers who were approached in 2011 by some customizers. This happened because Harley-Davidson® had switched their product range of Dyna® and Softail® to HD-LAN from 2011. And it went something like this: “You are the ones who know about electronics, right? Have you ever heard of CANbus (HD-LAN)? Or do you know someone who deals with it?” Of course, we didn't have to look long, as one of us deals with it on a daily basis. This gave rise to the idea of a small switch box to replace the original plastic handles with smart chrome controls. The first prototype was still almost the size of a postcard and could only replace the functions of the left and right handles. In the meantime, the current CAN-Switchbox is able to not only do this, but also replace the speedometer (speed / RPM / signal LEDs) and the radio. In addition, the outputs are also available in two different circuit types. With this idea, the ingenious tinkerers should get another chance to implement their desired designs. In the newest version of the CAN-Switchbox (Air), our circuit board has a radio module that digitally displays all CANbus information in connection with our app. So the original speedometer would be almost completely replaced. Meanwhile, we have been doing this successfully for over ten years, and only as a hobby alongside our professions.
