We are TIS, established by MIM Engineering, which has created a field that manages the entire process from the design, manufacturing, assembly, and service of isolation devices by combining both capital and engineering knowledge, especially in Turkey where the need for earthquake insulated buildings has become mandatory in the health sector after the losses caused by earthquakes. Seismic isolation (also referred to as seismic insulation or base isolation) is a method that protects the structure and all components within it from the destructive effects of earthquakes by creating a layer between the structure and the ground using special devices (earthquake isolation devices) placed between the structure itself and its foundation. Seismic isolators (also known as earthquake isolation devices or base isolation devices) are placed in buildings so that there is one for each column, and multiple under shear walls, effectively separating the superstructure from the foundation and ground.
