thyssenkrupp is a global industrial and technology group that develops and produces components, systems, materials, and steel solutions for major markets including the automotive industry. In 1999, it was established through the merger of Thyssen AG and Friedrich Krupp AG Hoesch-Krupp. Business restructuring: On October 1, 2023, the Bearings business and the Uhde, Polysius, and thyssenkrupp nucera business units were integrated into the Cable-free Elevator Systems business, and a new Decarbonization Technologies business was established. The Automation Engineering business and the Springs & Stabilizers business were transferred from the Cable-free Elevator Systems business to the Automotive Technology business. Meanwhile, the Forged Technologies business was also integrated into the Automotive Technology business. After the restructuring, the original Cable-free Elevator Systems business was discontinued, leaving five business sectors: Automotive Technology, Decarbonization Technologies, Materials Services, Steel Europe, and Marine Systems.
