Sheila Stewart (affectionately known as "She"), opened There She Goes in November 2017. It’s not just her store; it's her dream come true. A wife and mother to three teenage kids- Charlie, Eddie, and Vivi- Sheila's transition from a career in medical sales to business owner and fashion influencer was driven by a deep desire to create something of her own. Determined to bring trendy and fashionable apparel and accessories to women in St. Louis, Sheila launched There She goes in the basement of her home. Open only one day a week, word quickly spread, and her unconventional, basement boutique became a shopping destination. Sheila credits the success of There She goes to the loyal customers who have supported the store along the way, transforming her dream into a reality. So, whether you're a first-time visitor or a returning friend, stop by There She Goes- it's more than a boutique! Starting small allowed Sheila to learn from mistakes and try new things. With each interaction, she evolved and grew alongside her business. So much so that in May of 2021, There She Goes moved out of the basement and into a home of its own, inviting customers into a new space of curated fashion and personalized service. With weekly Instagram Live events showcasing the latest arrivals, and an expansion doubling the store's size in November 2022, Sheila and her team ensure that every shopper leaves looking fashionable and feeling confident.
