The School of Irish Archaeology is the choice activity for the curious child. Established in 2011, we have been introducing children and young adults to Ireland's rich culture and heritage by offering a great mix of activities to local communities nationwide. So whether you want us to visit a local school, facilitate an educational workshop or heritage event, run a week-long camp, or cater for a family fun day or fesitval, the School of Irish Archaeology is the perfect choice for your adventurous family. As the first-ever Archaeology School for children & young adults in Ireland, we take pride in our approach in delivering fascinating and engaging workshops to both primary and secondary schools. We now offer specialised adult education including cultural tours & lectures as part of our service to small / large interest groups and individuals. We bring our workshops to local schools, county museums, libraries and community centres to introduce the wider community to the genesis of Irish culture. Our education partners understand the value the School of Irish Archaeology brings to their pupils, and the positive and long-term impact that this experience offers.
