History The Garage Door Company was founded over 30 years ago as one of the first specialist garage door suppliers and fitters in Scotland. Since our formation we have rapidly established ourselves as one of the leaders in our area: carrying out site works for many of Scotland’s largest builders as well as advising and assisting architects and restorers on individual, high profile projects. Services Our services cover the supply, fitting and repair of most commercially available garage doors and garage door operators. For new doors we offer free onsite quotations and information so that we can mould our products to your needs. For operators and repairs, we will simply take the necessary details and supply an estimate over the phone – allowing us to carry out the majority of jobs without the need for time consuming second visits. A Wealth of Experience In our time we have accumulated a vast amount of knowledge in our field. As such we are more than happy to provide expert information, suggestions and advice. Environmental Awareness At the Garage Door Company we are committed to reducing our carbon footprint wherever possible. In all situations we strive to minimize our waste while maximizing our efficiency both in and out of work. To date the measures we have taken are: - All site waste and construction waste recycled where appropriate; - All metal doors and fittings are separately recycled; - All waste paper reused and then recycled as fire bricks which are then available to our staff; - Staff are encouraged to use sustainable transport to get to and from work including cycling, public transport and car sharing; - Bicycles are kept on our premises for use on short trips and local journeys; - Use of vans is strictly organized to reduce the distance traveled to and from sites: jobs are always scheduled by region; - Oh, and we always turn off our lights…
