The Candle Mill

Hello, my name is Clare and I have always loved candles. Over the years I have been buying candles, I have struggled to find candles that give off a strong enough scent throw to perfume a room and this was my main aim with The Candle Mill - to produce candles and room fragrancing that gives a strong scent throw while not costing the earth (in more ways than one). My products are aimed at the luxurious gift and self-care market and everything is lovingly handmade in my workshop in Solihull. I only use soy wax, the oils & bases I use are vegan friendly and cruelty free and the packaging is all recyclable where possible. I chose to work with soy wax as it is a natural material derived from soybeans however, it does behave differently to paraffin wax which is what a lot of the big brands use. Paraffin wax is produced from crude oil and when burned produces a lot of toxins, some of which are carcinogenic. Soy wax is perfectly safe for us to burn in our homes and makes fantastic wax products. As it is a natural product you may find that on arrival or during use slight imperfections such as ridges or bumps appear on the candle or wax melt . These are caused by small, naturally occurring crystals within the wax and they do not affect the burn or quality of the candle or wax melt.  I appreciate the buying a candle or anything scented online is difficult if you are not familiar with the scents and because of this if you are uncertain, I would urge you to take advantage of the Tealight Trial so you can sample 4 of the scents before buying your candle, diffuser or room spray.
