High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS sheet) is a lightweight plastic typically used for handling-trays which accommodate lightweight products. HIPS sheet has marginal resistance to impact and tearing, although it can be modified with a rubber additive to improve its durability. Our standard white foamex board is a very hard-wearing PVC foam board that has been compressed to make it extremely strong and durable.
