Tecnositaf is involved in the design, development, integration, installation and management of systems, subsystems and equipment for the control of mobility and safety in road (urban and extra-urban), railway and industrial environments. Tecnositaf S.p.A. intends to make quality and safety of information the most relevant discriminating elements to qualify itself in its market and to best meet the needs of its customers. Since its inception, TSF has played an important part in its activities by developing solutions that can raise the levels of safety for both the users and the road infrastructure. The first project developed by Tecnositaf was an innovative system called Fire Detector, useful to identify the thermal anomalies of vehicles before they enter into a tunnel (road or rail). The Fire Detector was installed for the first time at the Frejus Tunnel (T4), an important cross-border tunnel about 13km long. Moreover, this family includes the video surveillance systems that use video analysis for the Accident Detection and Smoke Detection, the systems that monitor the vehicles in transit on the road network, such as Weight in Motion and systems that monitor the state of the IoT infrastructure (Internet of Thing).
