Company Profile Upon its founding in 1988, Techway Industrial Co., Ltd. specialized in the production and development of cordless power tools in an era where the mainstream tools market was dominated by traditional pneumatic tools and cable power tools. The company successfully developed the world's first "cordless electric wrench for removing wheel lug nuts," driving the global market for cordless power tools. They dominated the global market after many years of hard work and collaborated with major international brands in development and design (ODM/OEM). By combining the strict internal management mechanism with systems such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Enterprise Information Portal (EIP), Product Data Management (PDM), Statistical Process Control (SPC), Automated Storage/Retrieval System (AS/RS), and Production Rationalization/Automation to lower development costs, raise overall performance, reduce overhead cost and minimize unnecessary loss, the mass production and sales of developed products were thereby speeded up. The R&D team comprises more than one-third of the company's employees. Possessing patents to over one hundred products, the company focuses on R&D efforts related to appearance modeling, mechanical design, specialized electronic software and hardware design, charger, battery, motor, and industrial design. Among these, products such as the cordless brushless grinder and cordless caulking tool possess over 108 patents in the US, EU, Japan, Taiwan and China, among which 64 are inventions. Cross-industry applications include the control system of bicycles (controller, battery, motor and charger), which won first place in the Electric/Power Assisted Bicycle category in the 2011 Innovative Bicycle Competition.
