Teamturf offers a wide range of high-quality Australian, European and Asian manufactured artificial turf products to the New Zealand sports, playgrounds and residential markets. Our synthetic turf sports surfaces cater to school multi-use courts, tennis, hockey, soccer, rugby and cricket. Teamturf offers an exclusive and unique recycled shock pad underlay for playgrounds, providing a safety surface for every possible playground or sports design meeting the latest NZ safety standards. Teamturf offers an extensive range of landscaping artificial grass surfaces for both residential and commercial applications. Teamturf was established in 2006 by Phil Lewis from Auckland and John Curtis from Sydney, each with 50% shareholdings. At that stage, we were trading as Team Sports Surfaces Ltd, and in 2018 we re-branded the company to Teamturf to better reflect the diversity of our products. Prior to the formation of the business in 2006, Phil had been working in the NZ and Asian markets for the previous four years covering all areas of the synthetic turf industry, while John had worked in the Australian and Asian synthetic turf industry since 1992 and manufacturing in Sydney since 1997. The Teamturf head office is located in Parnell, Auckland with a large managed warehousing facility in Panmure. Teamturf has a network of established agents throughout New Zealand with a focus on turf suppliers and installing artificial grass to the tennis, school multi-use court, playground, cricket, home, and commercial landscaping markets. We have worked with many of our agents for a number of years and their geographical location means we can service the majority of New Zealand. Teamturf is focused on quality at the right price, we finish every job to the highest quality standards and aim to exceed our customers’ expectations on every project.
