Team 1403 Cougar Robotics

Located in Skillman, NJ, FIRST Team 1403 Cougar Robotics has been demonstrating the importance of the STEM disciplines while also developing project management, leadership and teamwork skills since 2004. Throughout this time, Team 1403 has displayed sustained exceellence, winning over 60 awards.
As part of the FIRST Robotics Competition, Team 1403 is given six weeks to create a competition-ready robot. In a student-led effort, 1403 works to design, fabricate, wire, and program it from scratch. This rigorous program teaches both hard and soft skills required for future STEM leaders.
Team 1403 manages various outreach programs, sparking interest within STEM fields in Montgomery and beyond. In just the 2024-2025 school year, the Cougars impacted thousands of individuals on a global scale, thanks to 2,000+ hours of efforts from students.
