After trialling Taglus material in our laboratory, I immediately made the decision to only use Taglus for both all of our retainers and aligners from that point on. The peel away layer on both sides made finishing a breeze and a perfectly clear appliance. Brilliant material. We tested TAGLUS material at McGill Engineering. Physical characteristics are as least as good and in several instances superior to other popular brands of thermoforming material. We then ran a pilot clinical trial that showed that TAGLUS moved teeth predictably and was as or more comfortable as two other popular material. We are continuing our research but preliminary results are very promising. Our digital aligner department has exploded.
