Founded in 1996, Suzhou Singapore International School (SSIS) is the first, oldest and most experienced International School in Suzhou-China, fully authorized IB World School. SSIS offers a safe learning environment for children and adults, where children feel free to question their learning, and are encouraged to challenge their surroundings. Students are involved in all areas of school life beyond the classroom. Our EY programme is where fostering a lifetime love of learning begins and is specially designed for students 2 to 6 years of age. Our Elementary School follows the IB Primary Years Programme in Grades  1 to 5. This prepares our students to become active, caring lifelong learners. Our Secondary School follows the IB Middle Years Programme for Grades 6 to 10. In our Secondary School we seek to provide a holistic and challenging learning experience for students. As an IB World School our curriculum is centered around the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP) frameworks.  SSIS is Suzhou’s oldest and largest international school. We are a fully authorized IB World School offering a continuous IB curriculum. Our challenging core curriculum is focused on an international mindset to cultivate global citizens and life-long learners. Every day our 1100+ students (from 50 different nationalities) are challenged to actively participate in their education.
