Surfwheel

Raised in Vancouver, BC, Canada, the inventor of Surfwheel was inspired by the four seasons of the country, as well as its surfing, skiing, and skateboarding culture. He then attempted to build an electric vehicle with the most sensational move that he has always wanted and envisioned as a child. Years later, specifically in 2013, the electric mobility field was still boring. The Surfwheel team then imagined something great that we could and we wanted to bring into the market. We started developing the first Surfwheel, the R1, in 2014 and launched it in 2016. Surfwheel is a one-wheel, motorized skateboard that gives you a zero-gravity feeling while ‘surfing’ on land. The unique tire tread (US10058765B2), with its fine tuned shape and curve of the wheel, gives you the feeling of drifting and a true ‘surfing on land’ experience. Surfwheeling has been fun, cool and keeping us fit. We wanted to bring a modern, more refined, safer Surfwheel to the market. We spent the next 2 years preparing for the launch of Surfwheel SU and TR. We also enhanced the feeling of ‘surfing’ on land. The Surfwheel SU and TR are each equipped with safety wheels (US10065103B2), providing a smooth and easy ride. Surfwheel’s SU and TR weight range from 13 lbs. (6.5kg) to 18 lbs. (8.8kg) making Surfwheel one of the lightest and most portable electric mobility devices in the market. Surfwheel SU and TR are each equipped with high efficient LED lights providing a safer, fun and easy way to be visible at night. In 2023, we aim to bring whole range of Surfwheel to the market. Surfwheel was born in 2014, with our sights set on providing a safe and fun way to surf on land. The inventor of Surfwheel was significantly inspired by the skiing, surfing, and skateboarding culture while growing up in Vancouver, BC, Canada. The Surfwheel team consists of talented members from the USA, Sweden, Canada, Malaysia, Philippines, India, Hong Kong and Shenzhen. We are passionate to enable Surfwheelers having fun, staying fit and safe.
